Wish you were here!
I've never been good at a daily journal, so maybe if I think about this like a postcard with updates from five house and pet sits across the UK and EU, 10 weeks of travel and a Eurail pass.
Day 42
Mussels and frites…. The two most popular things to eat in Belgium. Chocolate is, of course, on the list, and one of the most obvious. I just didn’t expect mussels and frites. Who knew?
It’s the weekend in Belgium… what to do?
While I don’t have a home (or an RV or a boat), and therefore any of the traditional “chores” to do around the house on the weekend. I live this way to repurpose my time in support of my goal to write and publish.
My life isn’t all frites and flights.
So, while my Saturday is not a day for working in the yard, I do have a few things to tackle in the writing world.
And with mussels, frites, and chocolate as a reward, and a self appointed, nearsighted, personal assistant on the job, (see photo) I need to get a few things done today.
I have book one in a series written, edited and basically ready to go. It’s the first book in a series about a guy you love to hate… and want to sleep with. It’s the most fun I’ve had writing. Ever.
I’ll be looking for an ARC team soon and will then publish.
An ARC team. That’s the writer’s equivalent of “company’s coming” so I need to get a few things in order.
Mussels in Bussels, mayo mit pom fritz...lace and Rubins...one of my favorite walled cities.
Enjoy!
